L-3 Enterprise IT Solutions
and e-IDC Enter Strategic Marketing Agreement

Reston, Va., July 8, 2009 – L-3 Enterprise IT Solutions (EITS), a division of L-3 Communications, announced today that it has entered a strategic agreement with International Design and Construction Online, Inc. (e-IDC), through which EITS and e-IDC will jointly market e-IDC's Emergency Response Information System (ERIS). Under the agreement, EITS will provide services in support of the ERIS solution.

ERIS is a real-time building information system (BIS) for first responders and facility owners, providing users with situational awareness and tactical information about buildings and infrastructure. It supports the decision-making processes before, during, and after building-related emergencies, and serves overextended public safety organizations in their work safeguarding human lives.

"Our partner, e-IDC, created ERIS in response to today's growing need for protecting public and private infrastructure," stated Les Rose, President of EITS. "The solutions and services provided for emergency response personnel and building management through the EITS/e-IDC partnership, will help save lives and protect our infrastructure in times of building-related crises. Our experts, working together, will help improve the way these events are managed, and positively impact outcomes."

Joseph Boggs, CEO of e-IDC, added, "ERIS aggregates building model and sensory data, and it provides an integrated interface to address multiple stakeholders' needs during crises. By using ERIS' and the extensive data it reveals about affected infrastructure components, dispatchers will now be able to deploy more appropriate resources more quickly and accurately than ever before." He concluded, "With today's agreement, I believe the first responder and facilities management communities, through their new ability to view critical data simultaneously, and use their vital transit time to prepare for situations at hand, will be able to create a radically improved array of crisis management standards."

International Design and Construction Online is a privately held Maryland corporation, founded in 1999 by Architect Joseph A. Boggs, FAIA, of Annapolis, Md. e-IDC was established with the mission of utilizing and aggregating proven, available technologies, and partnering with leading technology companies to deliver online team integration and project storage retention solutions to the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) Industry.
